HVAC Concepts a leading Building Automation and Systems Integrator is looking for a Critical Facilities Controls Engineer to join our data center team. 

We are looking for a Critical Facilities Controls Engineer that is looking to develop creative approaches to reducing operational costs while improving overall data center efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identify problems, and make repairs quickly. In emergency situations or abnormal conditions, they will help the team manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of direct controls/automation experience or the equivalent in a critical/construction/high tech environment.
  • 2 years of experience in a programming/project management position, working with building automation systems or power monitoring systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate or possess technical competence on any of the following systems; Schneider, Delta, Alerton, Tridium, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell
  • Experience working in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
  • Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on these systems.

License Certifications Preferences and Other Requirements:

  • Preferred experience or certification Tridium Niagara AX, N4, Distech
  • Experience or certification multi-vendor platforms
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
