Ready to make a real impact and have the summer of a lifetime?
If you're passionate about supporting people with disabilities and love the idea of giving back to your community in a big way — we’ve got the perfect gig for you.
Easter Seals Alberta is a non-profit that’s all about empowering individuals with disabilities and medical conditions to live full, independent, and awesome lives. Through our programs, we help make sure Albertans have access to the resources they need — from life-changing equipment to unforgettable experiences at camp.
Easter
Seals Camp Horizon.
Nestled in the beautiful Bragg Creek area, Camp Horizon is where adventure
meets accessibility. Think white-water rafting, high ropes, rock climbing, epic
talent shows, arts and crafts, and more — all adapted so everyone can join in
the fun. Since 1965, we’ve been creating one-of-a-kind, inclusive summer camp
experiences for kids, teens, and adults with disabilities and complex medical
needs.
Now here’s where you come in.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, high-energy Camp Counsellors to join our summer team. As a counsellor, you’ll be hands-on, in the action, and making real connections with campers — helping with personal care, leading games and activities, and being the reason they leave camp smiling ear to ear.
You'll learn the ins and outs of being a great leader during staff training — everything from how to run engaging, inclusive programs to behavior management techniques. You’ll grow as a person, build lifelong friendships, and leave with stories you'll be telling for years.
If you're the kind of person who’s creative, caring, inclusive, full of energy, and not afraid to sing at the top of your lungs or dress like a superhero just because — we want you on our team.
Come spend your summer doing something meaningful, exciting, and totally unforgettable. Apply now and be part of something amazing.
