Electrical Mechanical Technician

Inspects, tests, repairs and maintains the electrical systems in a safe manner within a corrugated box manufacturing facility.   

Repair and replace bearings, belts, shafts, sprockets, chains.

Will troubleshoot and repair machinery including valves, solenoids, sensors, PLCs, AC/DC drives, Servo drives and automatic controls.  This includes but is not limited to OEM specific systems, Process Control and in-house designs.  

The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to respond to trouble calls from the production floor to maximize machinery uptime.   Daily computer interaction within a CMMS system to support the Work Order System.   

Knowledge and Skills:

• 10 years of electrical troubleshooting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of conveyors, corrugated equipment
• Strong proficiency in RLL & PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Familiar with test equipment, including meters, HMI's, Laptops etc
• Robotic experience, a plus
• Welding, a plus

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
