Job Description:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with food preparation and serving meals to residents of the Skilled Nursing Facility. The dietary aide will work with the dietary team to ensure that the nutritional needs of residents are met, and to provide an enjoyable dining experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist with meal preparation, including cooking, baking, and chopping vegetables

·        Set up and clean dining areas and tables for meal times

·        Assist with the delivery and serving of meals to residents

·        Follow food safety guidelines and ensure that all food served meets dietary restrictions and preferences of residents

·        Clean kitchen equipment, counters, and floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment

·        Assist with inventory and stocking of food and supplies

·        Handle resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
