Competitive Pay

Starting base wage: $22.89/hour

• $5.00/hour MN shift differential
• $5.00/hour Saturday and Sunday shift differential
• $2.14/hour wage pass-through

What You'll Do

As a Certified Nurse Aide at Grand Traverse Pavilions, you'll play an essential role in supporting residents' health, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. You'll provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, encourage independence, and work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and personal hygiene.
• Responding promptly to call lights and attending to residents' needs with compassion and respect.
• Safely transferring, lifting, positioning, and assisting residents with mobility using appropriate equipment.
• Helping residents prepare for meals, providing feeding assistance when needed, and documenting dietary intake.
• Monitoring residents' comfort and personal care needs, including toileting, incontinence care, and maintaining clean, dry bedding and clothing.
• Supporting restorative care through range-of-motion exercises, positioning, ambulation, and other activities that promote independence.
• Observing residents for changes in condition, needs, or behavior and promptly reporting concerns to the nurse.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of resident care and following individual care plans.
• Encouraging socialization, participation in activities, and engagement in daily life.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean environment and promptly addressing potential hazards.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and other team members to provide quality resident care.
