Forest Area Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic, experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as a key member of our executive leadership team. This role goes beyond financial management — it is about shaping the future of a mission-driven financial institution.

The CFO partners directly with the CEO and Board of Directors to guide financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and support sustainable growth.

What You’ll Lead

• Financial strategy, planning, and forecasting

• Asset/Liability Management (ALM) and liquidity oversight

• Accounting, financial reporting, and Call Reports

• Budget development and performance analysis

• Regulatory compliance with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)

• Internal controls, audits, and capital management

• Finance team leadership and development

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience

• Credit union or financial institution experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ALM, and regulatory reporting

• CPA preferred

• Executive presence with experience presenting to Boards
