Competitive Pay

Starting base wage: $19.47/hour

• $5.00/hour MN/Afternoon shift differential
• $5.00/hour Saturday and Sunday shift differential
• Starting afternoon shift: $24.47/hour with shift differential
• Starting midnight shift: $24.47/hour with shift differential

What You'll Do

As a Universal Worker at Grand Traverse Pavilions, you'll play an important role in supporting residents' comfort, independence, and quality of life. You'll help with daily personal care, meals, household tasks, and other essential needs while building meaningful relationships with the people you serve.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Supporting residents with everyday mobility, including transfers and assistance getting in and out of beds, chairs, and bathrooms.
• Assisting residents with transportation to meals, activities, appointments, and other destinations.
• Helping with meal service, including taking food orders, delivering meals, and encouraging residents to maintain proper nutritional intake.
• Distributing medications and providing treatments as directed by the resident's plan of care and applicable policies.
• Communicating residents' needs, concerns, and changes in health status to the appropriate supervisor.
• Responding promptly to resident emergency calls and assisting with emergency procedures and evacuations as needed.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable resident apartments and common areas through daily housekeeping.
• Laundering, folding, and delivering residents' personal clothing.
• Working collaboratively with team members to provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable resident support.
