Construction Foreman

M and B Services LLC, a division of the M&B Group, is seeking a Foreman to join our construction division.  M and B Services has a strong reputation for delivering a quality product and we are looking for a skilled and motivated leader to manage our construction projects with precision and excellence.

Job Overview:

As a Concrete Construction Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of concrete construction projects from start to finish. You will lead a skilled team of concrete workers, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work is performed in a variety of locations across Western PA - travel is required. Your ability to manage resources, communicate effectively, and solve problems will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of concrete workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and finishers.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate the daily activities of the crew to ensure efficient project execution.
• Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the team in executing accurate work.
• Meet project timelines and budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among the crew.
• Monitor and assess work progress, quality, and productivity, making necessary adjustments to maintain project objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and the field superintendent to address any issues or changes in project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage, and provide regular project status updates to management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to keep the project on track and ensure timely completion.
• Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and career growth within the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Concrete Construction Foreman or similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as well as lift and carry heavy materials as needed.
• Prefer ACI and NCEPT certification
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred, will be provided upon hire if needed
• Traffic Flagging certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
