Loan Review Intern


Position Summary

Performs assigned duties, responsibilities, and studies while participating in a formal internal Loan Review program. Becomes familiar with all of the operations and procedures of the Loan Review department. Employed on a part-time, temporary basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Follows instructions given by experiences staff to execute reviews or projects and ensure completion of the annual Loan Review plan while maintaining a commitment to tasks.

2.       Assists experienced staff with communication of review issues to management and staff personnel within the area under review through the timely issuance of review and exception reports.

3.       Developing credit or portfolio information for use by experienced staff in the making of risk rating or sampling decisions.

4.       Assembles all pertinent information and reports.

5.       Adheres to all regulatory and Bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.

6.       Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

·         Minimum GPA of 3.00

·         Enrolled in a business related major (i.e. accounting, finance, etc.)

·         Student entering their Junior or Senior year preferred

·         Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
