We’re looking to expand our team across the board. 


We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support the designprocurement, and assembly of our spacecraft.  This position is responsible for managing our supply chain demand signal, material resource planning and inventory strategy.  In this role you will work closely with our supply chain team, our operations team, and our product managers to drive short- and long-term decisions that will enable our product vision.  Quality and delivery are key to the success of York Space Systems and this position will be vital in ensuring this.   



  • Work with supply chain and product management to determine program demand and determine the appropriate inventory strategy to balance risk and cost. 

  • Hold regular touch points with suppliers to ensure delivery is on track. 

  • Collaborate with inventory and receiving to ensure inspection and handling plans are in place and executed. 

  • Proactively seek solutions to improve operational performance and transparency. 

  • Create, analyze, and validate data used to create demand forecasting and inventory planning models. 

  • Work cross functionally to understand demand drivers and create planning and execution strategies. 

  • Develop inventory demand forecasts at multiple time horizons and work with vendor partners to meet requirements. 

  • Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with vendors and partners to ensure supply chain transparency and excellence. 

  • Work with vendors and partners to ensure on-time inventory receipt and levels. 

  • Monitor demand compared to forecasts; communicate changes with vendor partners. 

  • Work with internal stakeholders to communicate and mitigate inventory supply risks. 

  • Manage data within the ERP including but not limited to data exchange, tracking, and follow up with manual fulfillment partners. 

  • Create, review, submit, and track vendor purchase orders. 



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education in business, engineering, or a related field. 

  • 2years of experience in supply chain planning, purchasing or related background. 

  • Experience with electronics suppliers, manufactures or supply chains. 

  • Highly motivated self-starter who can successfully manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. 

  • Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement. 

  • Extremely organized with advanced time management skills. 

  • Demonstrates self-initiated work in a team environment with strong leadership skills. 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
