Responsible for digital equipment maintenance and monitoring.

 Job Duties

Primary responsibility related to all cameras, recording and monitoring equipment related to the property’s Surveillance System. This includes software, hardware and networking components. The Technician Surveillance Equipment assists in the preventive maintenance schedule for all of the peripherals of the CCDMS (Closed-Circuit Digital Monitoring System). Assists in the installation, operation and maintenance of all equipment related to CCDMS video monitoring and recording.  Assist as directed in the evaluation, planning, purchasing and installation of new projects involving the CCDMS. Responsible for all Timely and Accurate Documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance reports. Assists in the training of surveillance and security staff in essential tasks related to digital components, software and archive and retrieval of digital images. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.



·         Must be able to climb ladders, operate electronic lifts (one-man lifts, Skyjacks etc.), operate various manual and power tools including drills and cutting devices.

·         Must be able to work in confined spaces for long periods of time.

·         Must be able to lift / carry up to 50lbs.

·         Acquire and maintain Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting) competencies.

·         Acquire and maintain knowledge of electronic testing equipment.

·         Acquire and maintain the ability to read simple instructions, schematic diagrams and blueprints.

·         Successfully complete Pelco VMS Certification (Vx Certification).

·         Must familiarize and utilize all safety equipment when performing job duties.



Secondary responsibilities duplicate that of the Agent Surveillance: Operates electronic surveillance equipment. Complete department reports as required.  Reports to the Supervisor Surveillance and informs management of any illegal activity.  Observes patrons and employees for cheating, theft or any other illegal activity. Cooperates with other departments with regards to surveillance reports. Attendance in court is required if needed.  Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.



High school diploma or equivalent. One year of related work experience preferred or combination of education and experience. Must qualify for and maintain licensure as required.
