Job Overview.

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting and lead generation techniques. This role will play a critical part in driving revenue growth by connecting with potential customers and qualifying leads for our sales team.

This is a remote role with SOMA Headquarters located in Tampa, FL.

Job Description/What You Would Do In This Role.

  • Oversee SOMA's CRM solution; understand, define and report on Partner interactions while handling the software enabling these interactions.

  • Manage, track and report on the Growth team's pipeline, open quotes, new opportunities, recent activities, and lost sales to CCO/CMO.

  • Partner with Growth & Marketing leaders to identify and target strategic new prospects that would accelerate growth

  • Develop meaningful relationships with potential Partners to foster trust and loyalty; leverage automation tooling to do so as necessary.

  • Follow up on initial and existing leads to further the sales process as needed by the Growth team (i.e. conference or tradeshow follow up engagements).

  • Work with Marketing to define Marketing Automation workflows to nurture various lead stages as defined by Growth.

  • Understand and clearly articulate the product, services, and value to potential Partners.

  • Other duties include marketing/Growth campaign follow-ups, researching vendor solutions, competitive analysis/understanding, and other tasks related to lead generation and prospect follow-ups.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in lead generation, inside sales, or a related field.

  • Experience in technology sales with a focus on lead generation.

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. 

  • Familiarity with G Suite, CRM (ZoHo preferred) software, and sales tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Results-driven attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
