SUMMARY
The Dialysis Program Manager manages and oversees the daily operations of the dialysis program at Serenity Blue Dialysis Care ensuring cost effective operations in accordance with all legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements and programs. Responsible and accountable for the quality of dialysis services, and exceptional patient care incorporating all activities from admission through discharge. As the clinical leader, the Dialysis Program Manager leads the clinical team to support the mission and vision statements of Serenity Blue Dialysis Center.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:  Current Licensure as an RN  
Licenses and Certifications:   
• Current RN license in the state of practice required
• Current CPR certification through American Heart Association

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum (12) months of nursing experience plus (6) months of dialysis direct patient care experience
• Ideally, one year of acute or chronic dialysis experience in a leadership position
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Knowledge of the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Process 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee a clinical team
• Demonstrated ability to assist with providing quality outcomes and tracking of metrics 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
• Assure that the clinic is in compliance with and has knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and receives continuing certification from all statutory and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with state Worker Compensation and OSHA safety training programs.
• Implement compliance with facility policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations for patient care and services. 
• Plan/coordinate patient scheduling to assure timely acceptance of patients and effective staffing levels and approve effective and efficient staffing to meet the needs of patients. 
• Assure that appropriate staff meetings, in-service education meetings, and team patient care planning meetings are held monthly. Leads and assures that Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program is current at all times. Ensure governing body is compliant and up to date.
• Plan and administer programs to ensure the completion of annual mandatory in-services, compliance, and competencies for self and respective team (s).
• Promote quality management program through education and involvement of staff and patients in outcomes as well as overall responsibility to achieve corporate goals for quality.
• Review patient and treatment charge reports to ensure ethical, accurate, and timely submission of charges for facility.
• Review, authorize, and monitor expenditure reports for the facility in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
• Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel, approving payroll, and counseling and disciplining employees.
• Know, understand, implement, follow, and communicate to staff all facility employment policies and procedures and seek opportunities to foster a positive work environment. 
• Maintain collaborative working relationship and proactive, effective communication with Medical Director and physicians to ensure suitable treatment modality for all patients.
• Continuously monitor to ensure that a safe and sanitary physical environment is maintained throughout the facility; that all equipment is maintained and functioning. properly; and that adequate and appropriate inventory levels of all supplies are available and used correctly.
• Assist Executive Director and/or Director of Patient Experience with dialysis related reports and projects.
• Responsible for driving the SB culture through values and customer service standards. 
• Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
• Addressing patient concerns, issues, and questions including the review of patient satisfaction surveys. 
• Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. 
• Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner. 
• Assume RN responsibilities when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
