We're looking for individuals who are keenly aware of their environment, personable and professional, and yet place significant value on security and established procedures.

Those in this position will engage in any of the following activities:

  • Regulate access through a hallway preventing breaches in security due to unauthorized access to secured areas.
  • Coordinate passenger access through queues for both customs and the TSA and prepare them for each checkpoint.
  • Expedite passengers carrying agreed upon indicators through the TSA, collecting indicators (cards) upon entry.

To accomplish this, we require that you:

  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Be able to push or pull up to 25 pounds and able to effectively operate a two-way radio.
  • Be able to stand/sit for 2-3 hours at a time while remaining aware of the location and actions of others.

We prefer that you be bilingual, but it is not required. The most common languages encountered other than English include Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Russian, French, German and Spanish depending on the time of day.

Full-time and on-call/part-time positions are available. If interested, please apply here today. You must be able to provide federally valid identification based on the REAL ID ACT of 2005  in order to secure both a Port of Seattle badge and Customs seal for work in this facility.
