Assist the Operations and Facilities Teams in maintaining neat, clean,
and sanitary facilities and delivering an exceptional customer experience for
patrons of ArtsQuest.
and maintain restrooms and offices located in the Levitt Pavilion, Visitor
Center and ArtsQuest Center.
- Replace supplies and remove refuse as needed.
- Report broken or malfunctioning equipment to maintenance supervisor.
- Quickly and accurately report safety issues to supervisor and/or ArtsQuest
Safety and Event Staff
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our staff
familiar with ArtsQuest activities, locations, and services in order to
accurately communicate with patrons and volunteers to provide the
necessary information for a positive customer experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Abilities
- Must be
friendly, personable and have excellent communication skills; must possess
a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding
customer service to our guests; strong people
skills, including diplomacy and empathy.
be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
be able to work unsupervised at times.
be a team player and be able to work well with others.
be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, when necessary, to
support our events and activities.
be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
to multi-task, be detail-oriented and able to problem solve in order to
effectively deal with internal and external customers.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
to lift items up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
with or without assistance.
to kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, pinch, grip, reach over head,
reach away from body, and execute repetitive motion, feeling (identifying
objects by touch), depth perception and color vision.
to follow and communicate clear guidelines and work at a quick pace during
events and other functions.
write, speak, and understand the English language at a level adequate to
perform the job; bi-lingual in Spanish or other language(s) a plus.
seasonally the hours could be:
9 AM to 1 PM or 5 PM to 9 PM (non-festival times)
weekend shifts based on organizational needs.
