Perform maintenance duties and provide assistance to the tradesmen in the Facilities Management organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with paint crew on various preserve amenities
- Assist tradesmen on projects and repairs that require labor assistance
- Custodial duties and clean work sites, shops, and tools as needed (i.e.: paint brushes, rollers, equipment, etc.)
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vans and trucks with materials and equipment.
- Perform other duties as required
Education and Experience Required:
Additional Information: Must be 18 years of age or older by the first day of employment.
Hours: Mid May-August; Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with small hand and power tools preferred
Special training or other licenses, certification, etc.: Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Skills In: Understanding and following of oral and written instructions; fundamental use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and equipment associated with various trade work; performing manual labor related to the support of maintenance and trade activities; understanding of personal protection equipment.
