Food manufacturing facility in Uptown New Orleans seeking a
Quality Control / Quality Assurance Technician with experience in the Food
The hours are 6:00 am to approximately 3:00 pm Monday
Job duties include monitoring and ensuring the safety and
quality food production.
Conducting daily Pre-operative cleaning checks and
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures in preparation, manufacturing,
packaging, and storage environments: (cold and hot areas of the facility).
Compensation starts between $14.00 & $16.00 per hour depending
The applicant must have the following experiences:
At least one year working in a food
manufacturing / production facility.
Some familiarity of USDA & FDA guidelines
Food Safety Certification. A higher level than
ServSafe preferable but not required. (HACCP, FISMA, SQF, etc.).
Monitoring Time and Temperature of raw goods
being stored, prepared, produced (cooked and or mixed), packaged and stored.
Maintaining the sanitation, cleanliness, and
organization of the work areas.
Some computer skills needed (printing daily QA /
QC forms and product labels.
