Mobile Phlebotomist

A fast-growing clinical laboratory is looking for an experienced Phlebotomist. The suitable candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in a professional environment.

Collection of lab specimens, venipunctures, and PCR testing in a variety of different settings. Strong phlebotomy as well as patient bed side manner skills are required to be successful in this position.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Must have a minimum of two years of experience in successful and difficult venipuncture.
• Experience with servicing patients in their home, home health, or hospice
• Be able to correctly identify patients and draw needs.
• Must be able to identify and select correct blood draw tubes.
• Data Entry
• Keeping office and lab area clean
• Performing other office duties as assigned
• The job requires handling clinical specimens

Candidate must have:

• Experience in phlebotomy
• Must have good communication and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Detailed oriented
• Experience in a clinical lab or doctors office is preferred
