As a Toy Tech you are responsible to receive shipments to
store, check for shipment accuracy, stock items in the stockroom and on the
sales floor, maintain store inventory and return any defective merchandise. You
are also expected to have an excellent knowledge of the store's packing system
and be able to pay attention to details to ensure that stock is cataloged and
- Unload and unpack new merchandise
shipments and prepare them for the salesfloor.
- Check items
received against shipping invoice to ensure the shipment is accurate.
- Deliver merchandise to the appropriate zone for
placement on the salesfloor and replenish the sales floor as needed.
- Organize and maintain merchandise in stockrooms.
- Conduct regular
- Understand FAO’s inventory systems and processes to be
able to best support our team and our customers.
- Collect damaged merchandise from designated areas and process
- Assist with the picking and preparation of merchandise
for delivery to customers, whether it be via Courier, FedEx, UPS, USPS,

- Observe proper
safety procedures in the stockroom, particularly when lifting and moving heavy items.
- Provide support for major store marketing events, visual

- Stockroom experience
in a retail environment
- Capable of
lift push or pull over 50 pounds on a regular basis, bending and twisting and
standing for long periods of time.
- A sense of
