Junior Researcher: Strategic Evaluation of DoD Security Cooperation (SC) Synchronization with NATO

Currently, Vysnova is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Junior Researcher for potential full-time work to provide a strategic evaluation of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) of Security Cooperation (SC) initiative synchronization with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) in support of the DoD’s SC Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) program.
Client/Location: Washington, DC
Junior Researcher: The junior researcher shall be responsible for supporting Key Personnel in evaluation design and execution. This includes providing relevant technical expertise, supporting identification and execution of the appropriate agreed upon methodology, and conducting field work and research.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Evaluation Sciences, International Security Studies, or a related field, such as Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration.
2 years’ experience conducting AM&E or social science research.
Secret Security Clearance – both U.S. government and NATO clearances required.
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree in Evaluation Sciences or in International Development or a related field, such as Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration.
5 years’ experience conducting AM&E or social science research
Experience researching relationship building, DoD SC efforts, and NATO SC-related topics such as shaping policy, building defense capacity, and/or developing interoperability.
