Accuracy. Compliance. Operational Integrity.

Do you find deep satisfaction in ensuring every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed? Are you an expert at keeping digital systems organized, trackers up to date, and compliance standards met?

Street Culture Project is expanding our People & Culture team. We are hiring an HR Administrative Assistant to act as the operational backbone of our department. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy of our records and ensuring our team remains audit-ready and responsive.

If you believe that strong HR operations are built on meticulous attention to detail and reliable data, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Systems & Documentation: Prepare and issue standard HR correspondence and ensure 100% compliance by auditing employee documentation (PDPs, contracts, etc.) within Payworks.
  • Compliance Tracking: Manage core HR trackers—including disciplinary, recruitment, and regulatory compliance logs—and proactively follow up on onboarding documentation, licenses, and annual declarations.
  • Training & Recertification: Utilize Payworks reporting to monitor training completion; issue workshop certificates (Canva) and manage recertification timelines (e.g., First Aid).
  • Operational Support: Support bi-weekly payroll prep, coordinate benefits/RRSP enrollments, and act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Team Coordination: Format internal memos and communication templates; coordinate onboarding sessions, interviews, and HR meetings.
What You Bring:
You are a master of organization who thrives in a process-driven environment. You possess a unique blend of technical skill and high-level integrity.
  • A diploma, certificate or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, compliance support, or office coordination.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Canva.
  • Experience with Payworks (or similar HRIS) is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage digital filing systems with minimal supervision.
  • Strong professional discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel and youth-related information.
  • A collaborative mindset and alignment with our core values: Integrity, Human-Centered care, and Growth.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid SK Class 5 Driver’s License (periodic travel between city sites required).
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance (mandatory condition of employment).
  • Commitment to SCP’s core approaches: Harm Reduction, Youth-Centred Care, Nurtured Heart, and Trauma-Informed Practice.
Why Work With Us?

At Street Culture Project, we’re not just a team—we’re a movement. You’ll be part of a community that believes change is possible and works for it every day. SCP is committed to reflecting the diversity of the youth we serve and fully supports inclusivity in the workplace. We strongly encourage Indigenous applicants to consider this opportunity.
