Title: Medical Assistant
Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM / 10:00AM-7:00PM depending on the day,
potential to extend
Under direction of the Director of
Ambulatory Services, the Medical Assistant (MA) provides day-to-day
administrative, direct patient care and clinical support to the Ambulatory
Services department through administrative and medical/nursing support. The MA
must have the ability to take adult and pediatric basic vital signs including
height and weight, blood pressure, visual acuity, color vision, and draw blood
accurately. They must be able to document information in the electronic health
record. The individual performing this job routinely interacts with
administrative, medical staff, other BSB departmental staff and patients.
school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a
graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Must have
BLS/CPR for healthcare providers.
- Must have
a current valid Maryland Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
- Minimum of
(1) one to (2) two years MA experience preferred, preferably in a
physician office setting/outpatient clinic.

execution of all assignments.
