Basin is located right in the middle of the best things to see and do in
Montana. You can visit Yellowstone National Park. Explore the national forest
and wilderness lands. Come down to the town of Big Sky and shop, eat, and catch
some music. Bozeman is a short drive and easily accessible by Skyline Bus.
This position will develop,
implement, and execute children’s recreational programming both indoors and
outdoors at Moonlight Basin. Supervise children’s recreation staff and provide
a fun and safe atmosphere for all children participating in the Moonlight Basin
Develop and implement lesson and activity plans for children in
Lead indoor/ outdoor activities as schedule requires.
Responsible for scheduling children’s recreation staff.
Responsible for safety and security of all children participating
in programs and activities.
Responsible for programs daily setup and clean up.
Responsible for sourcing and ordering supplies to support
Ensuring that all children’s information/release forms are
accurately filled out and the children are signed in on the sign-in sheet
by parents/guardians before leaving.
Responsible for billing to member accounts for activities.
Responsible for promoting the club’s children’s recreation
Interact with children, staff, parents, and members in a
professional and caring manner.
Handle reservation requests; take incoming phone calls, meeting
all phone etiquette standards.
Work closely with Outfitters Director and Manager. Providing
effective communication to ensure all activities needs are met.
Perform opening and closing duties as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education,
Recreation Management or similar degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum one (1) year of childcare experience required.
CPR/ First Aid Certified or able to obtain within one month of

Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Temperature
generally is moderate and controlled by Resort environmental systems; however,
must be able to work in extreme temperatures, possibly for one hour or more.
Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert
well-paced mobility for up to 7 hours in length. Length of time of these
tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different
outlets and other departments of the Resort on a timely basis.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing
