HVAC Service Technician

Air One Industries is looking for a highly qualified Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician to join our Western North Carolina Team!  If you are someone who has a desire to be a part of an award-winning team, works safely, and is comfortable servicing and troubleshooting Commercial/Industrial HVAC equipment, you could be a great fit!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, and split systems
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring of multiple devices
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks as well as electrical circuits and components for continuity
• Constant and professional communication with all team members and office
• Effectively use knowledge of the principles of HVAC equipment
• Areas of service:  Statesville, Hickory, Gastonia, Kings Mt., Asheville, Taylorsville

Qualifications and preferred experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2- year HVAC Technical Degree (preferred but not required)
• Universal Refrigerant Certification
• 5+ years of experience in servicing HVAC equipment
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Clean and valid driving license and record required
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings during employment
• Ability to pass a background check
