Archery Camp Lead Instructor
Our Doylestown location is searching for an Archery Instructor to lead specialty camp sessions for the 2021 Summer Camp season! If you love working with children, consider joining our summer camp team! The ideal Archery Instructor candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to write and adapt lesson plans to different age levels. Competitive Wage: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
At least 18 years old
Ability to work as a team member and accomplish tasks
Ability to adapt curriculum to different age groups
Experience teaching archery to children
USA Archery Level 1 Certification preferred, not required
Must attend all camp training
Instruct children of all ages (8-14) in archery technique and safety
Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum appropriately for different age groups
Responsible for the general safety of all campers
Enforce all safety guidelines and emergency protocols
Identify and respond appropriately to camper behavioral issues and report all incidents to the Lead Counselor
Ability to perform First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training will be provided)
Days/Hours Needed: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM; sessions offered morning and afternoon on alternating weeks. *This is a seasonal position from mid June to August*
Pay Rate: $11.00-$15.00/hour (depending on experience)
*An individual YMCA membership is included with employment*
