Legal Services of North Florida is a non-profit legal firm with approximately 95 staff members in six offices across sixteen counties in North Florida serving only low-income and vulnerable individuals and families and never charges a fee for services to clients. LSNF works to meet the legal needs of children, elderly, victims of abuse, and those with disabilities. LSNF’s priority areas of representation include support for families; preserving the home; maintaining economic stability; safety, stability and health; and serving populations with special vulnerabilities. These translate to cases involving Family Law, Housing, Public Benefits, Employment, Education, and Health Care issues.

Legal Services of North Florida has an opening for a Case Manager in our Pensacola/ Milton location and is seeking candidates with the ability to work independently and in team environments. The Case Manager will work closely with legal staff to determine client needs, make referrals to wrap-around services, and assist with non-legal support to serve clients in crisis and trauma. The candidate must have experience working with individuals in crisis, be able to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality, as well as prioritize multiple work assignments and/ or client cases simultaneously.  This position will require heavy communication with clients over the phone,  in-person, and in written formats such as email and text messages.

This person will work with our legal staff, partner organizations, and clients directly to support delivery of civil legal services. Applicants should be skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, and understand cloud document storage. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with a variety of individuals.. Experience with client case files, case notes, and digital case management is necessary. Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and work well within a team. Minimum requirements are either an Associate degree in human services field of study with two years of related experience OR a BS/ MS degree in related human services field.

Entry level salary is $35,000. Salary is negotiable depending on additional experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package for full-time employees includes:

  • Full time is 35 hours a week.
