Delivery Driver

This position is responsible for driving various company trucks to deliver parts and products to customers, and other 4 State affiliated companies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Picks up, delivers, and drops off parts & products to customers & related companies.

Maintains trucks and delivery equipment on a regular basis, informing Maintenance department of any needed repairs.

Records sales/delivery information on daily sales or delivery log as required.

Assists in resolving customer complaints regarding products or services, notifying appropriate department as needed.

Reviews & Updates customer information as needed.

Makes local or out of town or state deliveries as required.

Picks up food, furniture, & other items needed as asked for different departments of the company.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma, or GED equivalent.

CDL A license preferred, with valid driver's license required, and a clean MVA driving record.

Must be able to multi-task and work independently, with time management skillset.

Must possess directional skills and able to follow map or GPS for finding locations.

Needs good communication skills, especially listening & following directions.

DOT drug screen compliant status.

Shift:

Mon-Fri, Day shift, with some overnight travel as needed.

Working Conditions:

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Subject to heat/cold weather conditions. Long periods of sitting and driving in truck in all types of weather. Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 75 lbs.
