The Lone Mountain Land Company, with its headquarters in Big Sky, Montana is looking for a Project Engineer to join the team. The Lone Mountain Land Company, LLC was formed by CrossHarbor Capital Partners to manage the planning, entitlement, building, marketing, and sale of premier real estate communities around Big Sky, Montana. The company supports world-class club operations at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club and Moonlight Club and oversees real estate activities at Spanish Peaks, Moonlight Basin, Town Center, and other projects in the Big Sky region. LMLC also owns The Wilson Hotel, The Montage Big Sky and other, in-process, hotels and operations.

Job Duties

  • Generate and maintain punch lists for General Contractor on site, monitor completions and collect signed punch list completion sheets.
  • Gather, prepare and submit O&M data and coordinate for Customer Training as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
  • Manage specified General Contractor work in accordance with specifications and plans.
  • Work with Owner and General Contractor to ensure quality, cost and schedule.
  • Understand specifications and plans to perform field inspections of construction activity to verify compliance with the contract documents.
  • Monitor progress, for compliance with project schedules.
  • Manage ongoing changes made by clients and or ownership in the field.
  • Participate in creating and monitoring project punch list.
  • Ensure each client receives outstanding service.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in engineering, construction management, architecture or business
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands are typical for the construction industry including lifting of objects up to 40 pounds and exposure to extreme temperatures.
