The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting
with the overall planning, organizing, coordination and directing of all
functions on the Medical Unit
HOURS: 40 hours/week; sometimes more;
sometimes less, or as required to provide departmental services as needed.
SUPERVISED: Registered nurses, Licensed
Practical Nurses, Nurse Assistance, Unit Secretaries

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Nursing
school graduate, BSN preferred
RN license in State of Louisiana
ACLS Certification preferred
(2) years prior managerial experience preferred
verbal and written skills
customer relation skills
(2) years Medical/Surgical Nursing required
TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
all staff, scheduling and monitoring of personnel to ensure appropriate
staffing on a daily basis.
quality patient care and ensures that sufficient and properly trained persons
carry out the functions of the department.
fiscally responsible for the cost effectiveness of care provided and for
administration of the departmental budget.
responsible for providing leadership and promoting effective relationships
