Job Description – The senior engineer must have knowledge and experience of general maintenance duties. The applicant must be able to complete tasks independently as wells as with others. The senior engineer will be resolving issues pertaining to but not limited to; mechanical and electrical systems, light plumbing, locks, appliance repairs, and wall coverings. Communicating with other departments to provide a safe environment for our guest is a priority.

Job Responsibilities –

·         Project Control – Complete projects per Company Standards and Regulations

·         Property Maintenance – Landscaping, wall coverings, light fixtures, electrical, and plumbing

·         Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions

·         Verify and document the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs

·         Perform various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper, painting, building exteriors, and appliances

·         Collaborate with off-site Vendors, and Homeowners department

·         Performs maintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance

·         Replacement of  light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting

·         Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work as needed

·         Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work

·         Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards

·         Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance


·         Be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays

·         Must have extensive knowledge in hotel/ resort maintenance

·         Must have previous experience (5 years preferred)

·         Certificates from college/technical school is a plus

·         Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

·         Valid Driver’s License
