Responsible for guest room inventory, availability and assignment for arriving and department guests.
Register arriving guests and assign rooms. Answer inquiries regarding hotel services. Registers hotel guests. Provides information about services available in the community. Responds to guests' complaints. Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services. Ensures that all required reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Ensures guest satisfaction by responding to and resolving guest complaints. Maintains regular contact with the Housekeeping Department to ensure proper room status. Ensures that all guests are served. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred; or at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience. Must be able to qualify for and maintain license as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
