Church is seeking to hire a part-time facilities team member to join our West Franklin Facilities Team.
Candidates must be self-starters who can take instruction and execute tasks
with little to no supervision and can repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs.. Weekends and
evening availability is a must. Starting pay will be $14.00/hour with schedule
flexibility and quality work environment. Applicants are required to undergo a
background check. Duties include (but are not limited to) vacuuming,
dusting, window/restroom cleaning, and event coordination/setup.
The Facilities Team member is
responsible to the church, under the
direction of the Facilities Management,
for maintaining the church facilities in a clean and orderly manner to ensure
they are ready for planned church activities and events.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
· Set up all assembly and
classroom areas of building for church functions, set up tables and chairs for
banquets, special meetings and similar occasions.
· Clean all restrooms and maintain
adequate supply of soap, toilet articles, towels and other supplies; empty wastebaskets; collect/remove refuge from buildings
· Sweep, mop, and/or scrub and wax
floors per schedule or as necessitated by events; dust furniture and shelving;
wash walls and windows, and vacuum carpets
· Prepare facilities for special
use as requested by supervisor and assist when facilities and arrangements are
needed for weddings and funerals.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
· Make minor non-technical repairs
to building and equipment, replace light bulbs and tubes.
· Maintain task and cleaning logs
and turn in to supervisor daily
· Complete other duties as
assigned by supervisor

& EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalent, 0-2 years’ experience
