Position Summary:
At Thrive Behavioral Health Center, we deliver industry leading peer support for those suffering from Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Disorders. The Registered Nurse will provide quality assessments to individuals with Medical/Substance Abuse/Mental Health needs with a focus on reducing healthcare barriers and ensuring high level assessments telephonically. Services include facilitating patient/client access to appropriate levels of care by making post-discharge calls, receiving acute care calls, assessing needs, offering a clinical option, making referrals to healthcare providers, services, and community resources and completing comprehensive assessment and treatment of mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly support the strategic initiatives and operations of the organization by facilitating the development and growth of nursing activities
Work collaboratively with leadership to develop programs, protocols, and standard work instructions that support a successful telehealth program
Ensure successful implementation of multiple simultaneous projects and escalate issues appropriately.
Act as a liaison with all parties involved with the nursing program; maintaining positive relationships and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of the telehealth nursing program
Coordinate tasks associated with all phases of nursing implementation and program management
Utilize knowledge of nursing services and clinical workflows to develop a training program and is actively involved in training of all parties providing nursing services
Monitor key performance metrics and share data with stakeholders
Ensure that nursing best practices are identified and replicated across all service areas
Stay current with the latest information about telehealth and act as a resource to answer questions about related legal/regulatory compliance and payer guidelines including reimbursement of services
Exercise independent medical judgement consistent with approved methods and practices in their specialty and in the best interest of the client
Serve a client base 18 and older

Requirements:
One year clinical nursing experience
Ability to problem solve
Experience working with many levels within an organization
Comfort and knowledge working in various settings
Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems including evidence based practices
Understands problems analysis, decision-analysis, evaluate interventions, and contingency plans
Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said
Proficient level of ability with computer; Microsoft Office Products including Excel
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly with individuals at all levels of an organization
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, schedules subject to change based on business needs
High speed internet for telehealth services
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in behavioral healthcare industry
Education/Certifications: Ohio licensed nurse (RN) in good standing upon effective date of employment. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related degree.
