Survey Instrument Operator
Anderson Engineering, Inc. is an engineering consulting firm that offers a wide variety of design and development services. The team of professionals are made up of approximately 200 employees located in office throughout Missouri, Florida, and Arkansas. We are an employee-owned company that has grown from three to ten offices in the last five years. We are looking for enthusiastic team members to be a part of the AE family.
Anderson Engineering has an immediate opening for a Land Survey Instrument Operator. This position is responsible for learning how to setup and use all survey equipment and assisting the Crew Chief. The Instrument Operator takes direction from the Crew Chief, learns and matures in the art of land surveying to move up as the Crew Chief.
Responsibilities may include:
· Manages supplies & equipment
· Oversees the Rodman position and set the example of what is required
· Downloading field data, cut line, setting stakes and irons, locating improvements, keeping notes, taking pictures, and other general duties as directed by the Crew Chief
· Will be responsible in cases where the Crew Chief is absent
Qualifications:
· Prefer one to two years’ experience as an Instrument Operator
· The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license, good communication skills, be reliable and willing to work in various outdoor conditions.
· Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
