Hampton Inn Slidell is looking or a Front Office Manager who can provide effective leadership and outstanding customer service.

 Hampton Inn – Slidell is an 81 room hotel. The Front Office Manager works at the Front Desk of the Hotel and provides leadership to the Front Desk and Breakfast team members as well as service to the hotel guest and clients. The FOM reports to the General Manager and supervise the Front Desk and Breakfast activities, inventories and schedules, greets and checks in arriving guest and checks out departing guest. The GSM performs all duties assigned by the General Manager including Manager on Duty when the General Manager is not on property. Additionally, the FOM provides excellent supervision to the team members, customer service to all guest, makes reservations for guest arriving on the same days or future date, answers incoming phone calls, and responds to any guest inquiries or requests.

We are in search of qualified candidates who can excel at the following:

·         Always maintain a professional appearance

·         Supports the General Manager in all daily operations of the hotel

·         Participate in hiring, training and accountability for the Front Desk an Breakfast Associates

·         Take the lead in all guest complaints and ensure they are handled in a timely manner with a positive resolution

·         Communicate effectively with support departments to optimize hotel operations

·         Be responsible for preparing and reconciling cash deposits

·         Motivate and develop associates

·         Anticipate guest needs in order to have superior guest service

·         Maintain confidentiality and security of proprietary company information and guest information

·         Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the ability to shift and manage multiple priorities

Must be able to work weekends, Holidays and AM/PM Shifts. Hilton experience is preferred but not required.
