Salary range - $85,000 - $90,000

Reporting to the Eastern Regional Director of Sales, the Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in the pre-sales process, partnering with Sales teams and prospective clients to understand complex business and technical requirements and translate them into tailored, value-driven solutions. In this role, you will lead in-depth needs analyses, design and refine application prototypes, and deliver consultative, solution-focused demonstrations that clearly showcase value and functionality. You will facilitate technical workshops, provide targeted training on solution capabilities, and act as a trusted subject matter expert, guiding clients through challenges with confidence and clarity. TURN INSIGHT INTO IMPACT – IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Partner with Sales to conduct discovery and understand client needs – You will partner closely with Sales teams and prospective clients to understand business challenges and technical requirements. Through discovery sessions and workshops, you will gather insights into client needs, pain points, and desired outcomes, ensuring proposed solutions are aligned to real business value.
  • Design and deliver tailored solutions – You will design and present technical solutions that address clients’ specific requirements. By developing application prototypes and delivering engaging product demonstrations, you will clearly showcase the value and functionality of proposed solutions and help clients confidently move forward in the decision-making process.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor – You will serve as a subject matter expert on company products and services, providing guidance on solution capabilities, integrations, and technical considerations. You will stay informed on industry trends and product updates to ensure clients receive informed, relevant recommendations.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive successful outcomes – You will work closely with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and other internal teams to communicate client feedback and contribute to continuous product improvement. You will also provide technical input for proposals and RFP responses, ensuring solutions are accurate and aligned with client needs. 
  • Build strong relationships throughout the sales cycle – You will develop and maintain trusted relationships with prospects by providing ongoing support, answering technical questions, and guiding them through the evaluation process. Your ability to build credibility and trust will help create positive client experiences and successful partnerships.
  • Support enablement and continuous improvement – You will train Sales teams on technical aspects of products and services and assist in developing technical documentation for internal and external audiences. You will also help troubleshoot issues, document effective workaround solutions, and escalate complex matters when appropriate to ensure smooth and successful client engagements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 3–5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical consulting, preferably in software or SaaS environments. 
  • Bilingual (English/French) is required.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to design and implement complex technical solutions. 
  • Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer, or a strong understanding of workforce management or similar business software solutions. 
  • Familiarity with business case development and consultative solution positioning. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and industry trends. 
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams. 
  • Comfortable troubleshooting, debugging, and onboarding processes.
