Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those
consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer
to support our Information Technology team.
The Junior DevOps
Engineer is responsible for building tools that support and improve
infrastructure development and processes.
- Work as part of a team to help
build and maintain cloud based serverless computing environment for
mission critical business applications.
- Design and implement automated
solutions for build, deployment, and configuration management.
- Work with our development team to ensure enterprise
readiness of all our products.
- Document and design various
processes; update existing processes.
- Clearly communicate the technical and business values of
various technology products, platforms, and architecture to enterprise
security and IT teams.
- Participate in audits &
security reviews, providing required IT documentation and/or information.
- Be an integral part of
continually improving our infrastructure architecture as technology,
industry standards, and best practices continue to evolve.
- Recommend, review, and
implement new technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
· BS Computer Science or related degree or equivalent
technical work experience.
· Minimum 2 years’ previous experience
in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field.
1-2 years of DevOps experience with cloud-based
environments, preferably AWS.
Experience as a Software Developer and/or Quality
Assurance Analyst preferred.
Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure
as Code and PaaS.
Experience with containers,
preferably with ECS, Fargate, and/or Docker.
Experience with automating build and
Familiarity with other AWS
technologies such as S3, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, etc. preferred.
