Glendale Place Nursing & Rehab Center is a family-owned and operated facility, centrally located off I-75 and Glendale Milford Rd., just south of I-275.

Basic Function
The primary purpose of this job position is to efficiently operate the facility communication system and perform clerical support in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the Administrator. Responsible for answering and operating the telephone console, determining nature of call and directing caller to appropriate individual or department. Responsible for greeting, directing, and giving directions / information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, employees, etc. Responsible for operating the intercom and paging system, locating personnel as requested. Must communicate in a positive manner with residents and visitors, and maintaining a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments. Must communicate emergencies, problems, or non-routine events to Administrator and / or appropriate personnel. Must maintain a written communication log of events for each shift.
Customer Service
Interact in a friendly, engaging manner with our patients, residents, families, and other staff (customers) to provide enthusiastic, timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and/or needs related to care and service.
Policies and Procedures
Responsible for assuring that all facility procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Qualifications
Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and knowledgeable in the use of computers.
