THE ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
We are seeking a creative, efficient,
experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team (pun intended!). As
the CubicFarms’ Social Media Manager, you will manage our company’s online
presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analyzing usage
data, facilitating customer service, and managing social projects and
campaigns. If you are a highly motivated, creative individual with experience
and a passion for turning fans into customers and brand advocates, this could

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Marketing and social
media or internet marketing certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a
Social Media Specialist or Manager
- Education or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, business, and journalism is an asset.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing
degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to
profiles as examples).
in content marketing theory and application.
sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical
side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their
respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest
etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
excellent writing and language skills.
- Enjoys a
working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s
ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, audio
and video format.
at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
superior time management.
- Is a team
player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when
necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and
online reputation management).
a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research.
proficient in and/or certified in Google Analytics.
functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress CMS.
winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience,
advocacy, and conflict resolution.
great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply
conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
As a Social Media Manager, you will need to:
- Develop, launch, and manage social campaigns and
strategies that promote the company, customers, and brand.
- Manage social
media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
