Slot Operations Supervisor
Summary
Responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring slot machines, player tracking, and accounting systems are monitored on a continual basis for operation at maximum efficiency.
Job Duties
Hire, train and manage employees within the guidelines of the department. Manage all guest disputes, machine payouts, service breakdowns and tax information for Jackpot Winners. Perform jackpot payouts above $25,000.00 in accordance with 465a.26(b)(3) for signature requirements. Assist with guest interaction and transactions as needed. Perform duties of Slot Attendant as required. Disclose operational deficiencies to the Slot Operations Shift Manager and above. Enforce department, company, and state gaming policies and procedures and IRS currency transaction reporting requirements. Convey all special event functions, entertainment, restaurant schedules, etc. to slot staff. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. In the absence of a Slot Operations Shift Manager, a Slot Operations Supervisor may be designated to act as the Slot Operations Shift Manager and will oversee the operations of the Slot Area. When acting in the capacity of a Slot Operations Shift Manager, the Slot Operations Supervisor will be able to issue discretionary free slot play.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of two years Slot Operations experience is required. Must be able to communicate in English and be able to use an “in ear” communication device. Must be able to stand/walk and kneel for extended periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Have the ability to work various shifts and flexible hours to meet operational demands. Must qualify for and maintain licensure as required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and have a thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
