Job Overview.

As a Solutions Consultant within our Platform Solutions Team under the Implementations Division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful deployment and customization of the SOMA Public Safety as a Platform (PSAAS) applications. Collaborating closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers and Project Managers, your expertise will be integral in ensuring seamless integrations, tailored solutions, and effective partner engagement. You will closely work with Partner Agencies, applying Subject Matter Expert knowledge to optimize workflows and configure the application for deployment, training, and implementation of the Platform.

This is a remote role with SOMA Headquarters located in Tampa, FL.

Job Description/What You Would Do In This Role.

  • Support Forward Deployed Engineers in the design and implementation of custom solutions.

  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including product demos and proof-of-concept engagements.

  • Support Project Managers in the Basic Level of Configuration of Partner Tenants.

  • Help create and maintain sales and technical documentation.

  • Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skills.

  • Assist in Basic Module Builder, Widget/Report, and Implementation Training with Partners.

  • Provide customer support as needed.

  • Assist as a SOMA Subject Matter Expert on Discovery sessions for Partners in SOMA Applications.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience or a recent graduate with a strong technical background.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

  • Basic/Introductory understanding of JavaScript and HTML languages, particularly for development and troubleshooting.
