Loader and Delivery - Farm and Ranch

The primary responsibilities of the position are to unload inbound freight trucks, load customer vehicles, make deliveries, merchandise product, and support the store management team. The products that you will be working with are mostly bagged feed and baled hay.

Major Responsibilities

• Delivery to farm and ranch customers using the company vehicle
• Stocking of baled and feed product inside and outside the building as well as unloading at customer sites
• Loading customers purchases in their own vehicles
• Be responsive to safety issues
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in delivery, forklift and working with customers. We can certify you on forklift operations if needed
• Previous experience in a feed store or retail environment is ideal
• Must have active, clear Drivers License
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Physical Requirements

• Willing to work most of  the scheduled shift either outdoors in our covered warehouse or in a vehicle delivering orders
• Must be able to lift 80 - 100 pounds regularly with assistance and tools frequently to load and unload customer orders
• Ability to move, stand and walk for an extended period of time
• Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting
