Countertop Polisher, Entry Level
Employee-Owned Premier Countertop Company owned is looking for motivated individuals to train and learn a trade for a full-time entry-level Stone Polishers position. Competitive Pay based on experience, with opportunities for advancement. Comprehensive benefits package, daytime shift Monday through Friday with potential overtime.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate an overhead crane
- Polishing stone countertops to customer specifications.
- Ensure a smooth surface by hand polishing or using sanding machine or other equipment.
- Edge and inspect final products for product specifications and or product defects.
- Handle countertop materials in a safe manner
- Ability to use basic hand-held measuring and power tools
- Detecting and reporting of defective materials to management
- Maintaining work area and equipment in a safe and clean manner
- Train on other shop equipment as needed
Experience Required
- Experience of 1 year or more operating an overhead crane
- Experience in auto body finishing is a plus.
- Experience with hand tools is a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend shop paperwork
- Ability to use basic measuring tools
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 100lbs
