We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join our growing team. Consider applying for this incredible opportunity!
The successful candidate will have duties such as but not limited to:
• Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
• Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including posts, images, videos, and infographics.
• Provide, advise and execute improvements based on industry research for our websites.
• Monitor social media trends, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports on social media engagement and campaign effectiveness.
• Assist in the planning and execution of public relations activities, including drafting press releases, coordinating media interviews, and engaging in media relations to send to the VP of People Marketing and Innovation.
• Develop strategies to improve on the overall employee experience and assist with event planning as needed.
• Completing the tasks involved with basic copywriting and ensuring that complex material is presented in a clear and concise manner that’s easy to understand for the assigned audience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute employee events, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and company-wide celebrations.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, and on-site event coordination.
• Assist in the development, production and supervision of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional items.
• Assist with organizing and setting up industry trade shows.
• Working with other departments to ensure their marketing needs are met.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the industry.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Experience in public relations, and event planning.
• Experience with managing websites (content and analytics)
• Experience with Squarespace is considered an asset.
• Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Experience with photography/videography is considered an asset.
• Continuous improvement focused.
• A keen sense of urgency is critical.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software is a plus.
