Donor Stewardship and Communications Advisor
Job Title: Donor Stewardship and Communications Advisor
Department: Fund Development
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Application Deadline: June 1, 2026
Heritage Park, so much more than a museum. You’ll work where history comes alive.
One moment, you’re standing beside the magnificent S.S. Moyie paddle wheeler watching as families sail back in time. Then, you’ll hear the whistle of a steam locomotive echo through the Park while children race toward the train platform with excitement. On any given day, you might find yourself surrounded by draft horses, midway laughter, prairie streets, historic shops, fresh baking, live interpretation, and families making memories together across generations. Memories that last a lifetime.
Behind every unforgettable experience is something incredibly important:
People who care enough to give - and that’s where YOU come in.
Heritage Park is looking for a warm, organized, people-centered individual who can connect donor experiences and stories, steward relationships and collaborations and help create meaningful experiences for the donors and supporters who help make this extraordinary place possible. Someone who understands that philanthropy is ultimately about relationships, emotional connection and helping donors feel part of something meaningful.
Every donor helps preserve not only history, but the moments families carry with them for generations.
About the Role
- Ensure donors, sponsors, and supporters feel genuinely appreciated, recognized, informed, and emotionally connected to Heritage Park.
- This is a role filled with people, stories, events, creativity, donor experiences, community connection, and moments that matter.

- At Heritage Park, we believe fund development is ultimately about people, relationships storytelling and shared purpose. We value collaboration, kindness, creativity, professionalism and individuals who genuinely care about creating meaningful experiences for others.
- You’ll help inspire support for one of Canada’s largest living history museums through meaningful donor experiences, stewardship activities, fundraising campaigns and community giving programs.
