Key Responsibilities:
As a Graphic Design Lead at LightForm, your role will involve:
Creating visually stunning graphics for our website, email newsletters, printed materials, and social media advertisements.
Design, produce, and manage digital marketing assets for web
Lead the development of innovative designs that align with our brand standards.
Providing feedback on website user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
Designing materials for showroom displays, business cards, brochures, postcards, and other projects.
Maintaining an organized archive of graphics and brand logos.
Staying up to date with the latest graphic design industry trends and innovations.
Gaining in-depth knowledge of LightForm products and our portfolio of brands.
Understanding our key audiences, including interior designers, architects, lighting specifiers, and design enthusiasts.
Communicating daily progress using our team's Trello board.
Ensuring brand consistency across all graphics and platforms.
Proactively suggesting ways to enhance LightForm's visual presence.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or a related field.
A user-centric mindset with the ability to break down complex information into simple, visually appealing designs.
Competent in the use of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Lightroom etc.)
Strong analytical skills for making data-driven design decisions.
Exceptional creativity and the ability to turn any subject matter into visually stunning content.
Strong experience developing visual language, presentation decks and style guides
Resourcefulness and the ability to seek out solutions when needed.
A commitment to self-edit and deliver only the highest-quality work.
Proactivity and a strong sense of ownership over assigned projects.
A "no job is too big or too small" mentality, with a strong work ethic.
A positive attitude and a desire to contribute to our vibrant company culture.
Nice to Haves:
Additional aspects for an expanded version of this role for the right candidate might also include the following:
Copywriting experience for great story-telling.
E-Commerce/Website development and design.
Experience and a deep understanding of content creation and performance marketing.
Experience in Photography, Videography and other forms of content creation.
An understanding of performance marketing and best practices
Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range and comprehensive health benefits.
Hybrid working schedule with access and the ability to be in our Vancouver Showroom/Office at least 1-2 days a week.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience and potential.
