Senior Manager, U.S. Energy Markets

As Senior Manager, U.S. Energy Markets, you will shape strategic initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and expand our energy solutions across NYISO, PJM, and MISO. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. energy markets, experience with ancillary services programs, and a forward-thinking, AI-driven approach to optimizing market participation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategies to expand Rodan Energy's presence in the U.S. energy markets, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the delivery of energy solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes, with a particular focus on NYISO, PJM, MISO, and other energy market jurisdictions.
- Ancillary Services: Manage and optimize the operation of assets within ancillary services programs, leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance performance and efficiency.
- AI-Driven Innovation: Integrate artificial intelligence techniques and technologies to drive improvements in energy management, market operations, and client services.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the U.S. Energy Markets division.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years in the energy sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on U.S. energy markets (NYISO, PJM, MISO preferred). Experience in operating assets in ancillary services programs is essential.
- Strong understanding of U.S. energy markets, including NYISO, PJM, MISO, and other jurisdictions.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in operating assets in ancillary services programs.
- AI-minded approach to energy market optimization and operational strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
