Xtreme Assistant Director  

Seasonal Position 

Gain valuable experience, be a positive role model, and give back to the community while having fun this summer.  

Pay range: Starting at $24.63 - $28.37 (PT-7) 

Location: The town of Cohasset is seeking seasonal Xtreme Assistant Director for the summer Xtreme program with the Recreation Department. This position reports to the Xtreme director and the Recreation Director. 

Description of responsibilities: 

The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Xtreme program activities including games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips, all while ensuring a safe and supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members.

Requirements: 

CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.

Monday, June 29th through Thursday, August 13

Monday through Thursday work schedule

Orientation  Mandatory – week of June 22nd
