Position Description:

As a Wholesale Marketing and Customer Service Rep, you will lead the marketing, tracking, binding, and service of Choice Financial Group retail branch wholesale submissions, primarily consisting of commercial clients. You will develop relationships with Choice Financial Group retail branch agencies and insurance markets. This will include both surpluses and admitted market submissions. You will be responsible for building our business and servicing the clients of the Choice Financial Group retail branches, including annual reviews and seeking opportunities to present products that enhance their insurance portfolio. 

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Manage the Choice Financial Group wholesale book of business to include new submissions and renewal business.
  • Work with retail agencies to market and place their wholesale submissions.
  • Create and develop relationships within the Choice Financial Group family of business partners
  • Maintain solid relationships with Choice Financial Group wholesale insurance partners
  • Complete the quoting process using knowledge of Surplus and Admitted markets and technical expertise to provide a solution prospect.
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team to maximize results.
  • Working knowledge of Applied EPIC system to support the marketing process, including input of accurate and timely information relative to the first meeting and quoting process.
  • Stay current on industry standards through continuing education and industry news  
  • Make recommendations, when necessary, on expanding insurance market appointments
  • Process new business, renewals, audits, and billing for Choice Financial Group wholesale book of business

 Qualifications:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Commercial CSR at either a retail or wholesale agency
  • Minimum of 2-3 years Wholesale Agency experience
  • Working knowledge of EPIC, AMS360, or similar customer management system
  • Experience marketing and servicing Surplus Lines Business
  • Ability to create and maintain quality relationships with retail branch agencies

  • In-office with occasional remote opportunities
  • Occasional travel may be involved to visit Choice Financial Group Retail Agency locations
