We are currently seeking
Volunteer Drivers with a valid Class 4 license to support two staffed
residential programs in the Parksville area serving individuals with limited
mobility.
Transportation is a
vital part of helping the people we support remain active, connected, and
engaged in their community. While our staff team works toward obtaining their
Class 4 licenses, volunteers will help bridge this temporary gap and ensure
continuity of support.
This is a meaningful
opportunity to make a direct impact in a practical and flexible way.
As a Volunteer Driver, you will:
- Safely operate a Bonaventure wheelchair-accessible vehicle
- Transport individuals to appointments, community programs, and activities
- Support access to meaningful community participation and routine
- Follow direction from Bonaventure staff during scheduled transportation
- Bonaventure staff remain responsible for all care, supervision, and support needs during transport
- Volunteers are not expected to provide personal care or behavioral support
This role is limited to transportation duties only.
